Why I created SkiptoApp

SkiptoApp started with a simple frustration.

I wanted a straightforward link-generation tool, but many existing services made basic usage unnecessarily restrictive. Some required subscriptions, while others limited the number of links you could create under a free account.

For something as simple as generating and sharing a link, those limitations felt excessive.

So I decided to build my own alternative.

SkiptoApp is a free smart-link tool designed to make link generation simple and accessible without requiring a subscription. It allows people to create and share smart links without having to worry about monthly plans or arbitrary limits on link creation.

What SkiptoApp does

SkiptoApp helps you create shareable links that guide visitors toward opening content in the appropriate app instead of remaining in the browser.

The process is simple:

1. Paste your destination URL.
2. Generate your smart link.
3. Share it wherever you want.
4. Let the link guide visitors toward the intended destination.

There is no subscription requirement, and the goal is to keep the core experience straightforward rather than surround it with unnecessary restrictions.

An independent project

SkiptoApp is an independently created project. I built it to solve a problem I personally encountered, and I intend to keep improving it based on how people use it.

The focus is simple: make smart-link generation easier, keep the experience uncomplicated, and provide a useful alternative to services that place basic functionality behind subscriptions.
